His smile was like a spring breeze, soothing and relaxing Seraphina’s nerves. 

Seraphina followed his lead and returned the smile. 

The elevator reached the lobby, where only Thomas was waiting. 

“Where’s Zora?” Wilson asked. 

“She ran off. Couldn’t stop her,” Thomas replied. 

Not even a thank you? Not that she minds. 

Thomas glanced at Wilson and expressed his gratitude, “Thank you, Mr. Rockwell.” 

Seraphina eyed him suspiciously. 

Wilson smiled warmly and explained, “I was talking to someone else earlier, when I passed by, your assistant asked me to come up and help. 

Now it made sense. 

Wilson had helped her twice, so it would be rude to not have a meal with him. 

Seraphina suggested, “How about we grab a bite?” 

Wilson nodded. There was no reason to refuse. 

“Sure.” 

On the way, Seraphina called Sivir to update him on Tony’s situation. 

Sivir didn’t know him well; their relationship was purely professional. 

After hearing her out, he fell silent for a moment and said, “You did the right thing. Don’t sign anything until you have all the facts. 

Many morally corrupted CEOs companies had been brought down over one scandalous incident. Moreover, this situation involves a public figure like Zora, along with the serious accusations of abuse–it’s not something to take lightly. While some socializing in business is unavoidable, there are lines that can’t be crossed. It could hurt your company’s image.

She gave it some thought, pulled out her card, and said, I’ll sign up for the yearly membership.” 

The front desk clerk, half asleep,

“Seraphina?” 

Seraphina turned, recognizing the voice. “Are you a friend of Orion’s?” 

Orion’s social circle wasn’t large, mostly consisting of rich heirs like Lucius. 

This man had been at a party she attended before; he was a lackey of Lucius. 

He smiled and walked over. “Ms. Cross, if you’re here to work out, don’t bother with the membership. Just come and go as you like. You’re always welcome.”
