Chapter 569 Sivir Comes Home with His Girlfriend 

Ken steeled himself, forcing the words out.

“Mr. Ramona is family to you. It’s not that he doesn’t care; it’s just that he’s angry right now. He needs a way to save his pride. If you truly disagree with him, the others at Droses may not express it directly, but they will likely whisper behind your back.” 

What would they think of Orion if they could turn their back on an elder who had raised him with his own hands? 

If the day came when Orion fell from grace, who’s to say they wouldn’t turn on him too? 

Orion was known for his swift, decisive actions–his methods were ruthless but effective. 

It was a strength, but when applied to family, it could alienate them. Fear could rule, but sympathy would be lost. 

Ken had thought this through thoroughly before mustering his courage to say this. 

For a long while, there was only silence. 

Then Orion’s voice came, low and cold. “Don’t worry about it.” 

He had gone this far and had no intention of playing the dutiful grandson anymore. 

If they could behave, he wouldn’t make things difficult for them. 

If they didn’t, there would be no mercy. 

What was the point of showing any more leniency? 

Orion had always put his own interests first–since he was young, that had been his priority. 

Ken sighed; he should have seen it coming. 

“Well, Davy has already arrived on behalf of Highland Group. If everything goes smoothly, the contract will, likely be signed tomorrow morning, and by the afternoon, there will be movement at Mr. Ramona’s place.” 

This was their last chance. 

If they nailed it, things would fall apart between Ramona and Orion. 

Orion’s face grew darker, his eyes as deep and black as the void. 

“Let him do what he needs to. Just cooperate. You can go now.” 

“Understood.” 

Ken left the office and pulled himself together, he was determined to make sure this major task went off 

without a hitch. 

Though he worked for Dros Group, his loyalty was to Orion–he was not bound by Droses’s restrictions. 

The moment Ken stepped out, his phone rang. 

Chapter 569 Sivir Comes Home with His Girlfriend 

At Cross Group, Seraphina was surprised when she received the invitation. 

Dros Group had been unusually quiet lately, with no major events, so why the sudden gala? 

The golden invitation seemed more extravagant than their usual anniversary celebrations. 

It felt strange. 

Seraphina couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off, but she couldn’t pinpoint what. 

Just then, her phone rang–Emeris’s voice came through excitedly.

Seraphina froze. Sivir was back already? 

There were still a few days left in his two–week vacation. 

Still, it was a relief. She hadn’t been able to sleep well these past few nights; managing the company all alone was exhausting. 

Without waiting for any self–pity, she quickly agreed, “Alright, I’ll head home now.” 

She felt a wave of excitement–finally, some freedom. 

But he was bringing his girlfriend back, which likely meant he’d decided to be with Kate Dawson. 

She couldn’t help but feel a little sad for Olivia 

But in the end, everything in life had its destined course. She should feel pleased for Sivir and Kate Dawson. 

With a light heart, she drove back to the mansion. 

As soon as she got out of the car, she saw Benjamin coming over to greet her with a wide grin. 

“Today’s a special day! Mr. Sivir’s bringing his girlfriend home for the first time. Mr. Emeris is so happy!” he said, practically beaming. 

Seraphina couldn’t help but smile. 

“Benjamin, you seem pleased too.” 

“Of course! I’ve watched you all grow up, and I always hoped that maybe Sivir would take after Justin a little more in the romance department,” Benjamin quietly confessed, his cheeks flushed with joy. 

Clearly, Sivir finding himself a girlfriend was a significant event for the family. 

Seraphina laughed and walked inside, where Sivir and Kate were chatting with Emeris. 

Since he started dating Kate, there had been more smiles on Sivir’s face than before. 

It was amazing how love could change a person.
