Nina held Diana's hand. "I'm glad I don't have to give birth. It's hard enough for you, giving birth to the twins and then having to deliver another pair of twins now."

Diana was puzzled. "What do you mean by that? You and Vans don't plan to get married?"

After Nina had stayed over at Vans's place the last time, Diana thought they would reconcile. Plus, there had been no news from Lina Jennings's end. With that, Diana assumed Vans had given up on pursuing Lina and was getting serious with Nina.

However, based on Nina's words, it seemed there was still no possibility of them getting married. In fact, Nina was even prepared not to have children for a lifetime!

"It's hard," Nina said.

She thought of Vans' mother's predicament, and it pained her.
