Julian yelled at the top of his voice a few more times. “Where are you right now? Oliver, can you hear me?”

Oliver heard Julian calling his name. “I’m with the crew. It’s raining very heavily today.”

With that, a buzzing sound came through once more.

Julian waited patiently for the buzzing sound to disappear, before mentioning Sean to Oliver.

To his surprise, the call got cut off and Oliver’s end went silent.

“Where in the world is he at for filming?” Julian said with furrowed brows.

He turned to look at Diana, and told her about the call just now. “How could he not even have a signal? Is he with Fanny? Isn’t Fanny pregnant?”

Diana was unable to answer all of Julian’s queries. But now, she no longer needed to worry about bothering Fanny. She took over, and gave Fanny a call.

While waiting for her call to be answered, Diana explained to Julian, “I remember Oliver and Fanny use phones of different brands. Maybe Fanny’s phone gets a better signal. I’ll try and see if I can call her.”

Julian nodded. He waited with Diana for Fanny to pick up her call.

However, no one answered.

Even after Diana called Fanny three times, it was the same. She called Oliver again, and no one answered her call, either.

“Do all their phones not have a signal?!” Diana glanced at Julian and asked, “Can you contact Oliver’s assistant?”

“I can,” Julian said. That was easy for him.

Julian swiftly woke Noel up, and managed to get the number of Oliver’s assistant.

“You mean, Oliver didn’t visit the crew?”

“I’m not too sure,” the assistant said. “I didn’t contact Mr. Channing in the past two days. The only thing I know is that he left his house with Mrs. Channing, but I have no idea whether they went to visit the crew.”

The call had been in vain.

Diana’s hand tightened over her womb, as if feeling the pain of life ebbing away. The pain she felt when she first lost her child washed over her once more.

She was frightened and panicky.

Julian sensed her vulnerability and pulled her into his embrace. Diana clung onto him as her pillar of emotional support, someone she could fully rely on.

She didn’t want to feel the sorrow she experienced in the past.

“How is she? Is Fanny in danger?” Diana asked, with the intention of having Julian book plane tickets for them to fly over and take a look.

But the manager said, “She's probably fine… Though I’m not completely sure about that.”

She was very worried right now.

“Ms. Winnington, could you try contacting Mr. Channing? He took her away when he realized that she had a miscarriage. We couldn’t contact either of them until now.”

Oliver took Fanny away within three to five minutes of her suffering a miscarriage. Those few minutes were enough to drive him mad!
