Seeing him being so submissive, Cecilia suddenly berated herself inwardly again. It must have been her overthinking. If Larry had any ill intentions, why would he have opened the door?

Cecilia took a few steps back, silently cursing her overactive suspicion.

She apologized to Larry again. "That's fine."

She placed her bag back on the shelf, and said, "Let's have a meal, and then I'll leave. It's a good opportunity to taste your cooking."
