Kidnapped by the Alpha novel Chapter 5

Theodore's POV:

I went to the kitchen to get some food for my mate, Natalie. Such a lovely name she has. However I was pained to see my mate in this condition, the doctor said she was too weak and needs a proper diet. I took food for her and headed back towards the room but to my great astonishment, the room was empty. I went and checked in the washroom but she wasn't there too. My eyes went to the chair that was placed near the window.

I understood she had escaped which made me furious. She cannot run away from me, I'll get her back again. I went downstairs angrily where I saw Steven, Daniel, and Zen seated in the living room.

"What's the matter, you seem to be angry?", asked Zen.

" Zen, your brother gets angry for no reason", Steven said laughing.

" How would you respond, when your mate will escape from you. Won't you be angry?", I asked Steven wildly.

"What?", Daniel, Zen, and Steven asked shockingly.

I immediately transformed into my wolf form and ran to search for her. I traced her through her scent and succeeded in finding her. I pounced upon her and pinned her to the ground trying my best not to hurt her. She looked at me in fear and fell unconscious. I took her to the pack, but this time I kept her in my room, in front of my eyes so that she couldn't escape.

I was sitting on the couch and was doing some work when I saw my mate squirming in her sleep. She opened her eyes but closed it again due to a streak of light. It took a few minutes for her to adjust to the falling light. I went towards her and sat on the corner of the bed. She seemed to be terrified of me as she crept back in fear, pulling the blanket closer to her face.

" Hey, Relax. I'm not hurting you", I told raising my hands up in the air.

"Who are you? What do you want from me? Those wolves? They didn't kill me?", she asked sobbing.

I couldn't tell her that I was a werewolf. She already seemed scared of me and I didn't want to scare her more.

" Ahhh! My head", she cried holding her head in between her palms.

"Baby, are you okay?", I asked concernedly holding her hands but she pushed it away and cried.

" Please don't touch me"
