Arabella never expected Lysander to treat her like this.

"Are you yelling at me?" Arabella was both angry and hurt. "I got the plastic surgery so I wouldn't embarrass you, so people wouldn't compare me to the Zades. Have I done it wrong?"

Lysander frowned, feeling a pang of guilt upon seeing Arabella’s state.

He shouldn't have spoken to her in that tone.

"I'm sorry, my attitude was bad," Lysander apologized, trying to soothe Arabella. "I was just upset because of Miranda."

Arabella wiped her tears and fell silent, though inside, she was seething with hatred for Miranda, wishing she would just die instantly.

Meanwhile, Miranda returned to the lounge and had some fruit. As her phone buzzed, she picked it up, only to hear Marion's voice sounding like a firecracker ready to explode.
