Carter huffed, "So what?"

"Some of the rich boys have family ties to the military and government. If you cross them, it could be a hassle."

Though Darcy's family was established overseas, they still had Ardenza blood in their veins, and he didn't want any friction with the circles in Ardenza.

Carter had always been a bit of a wild card, and Darcy worried about him getting into trouble in Virell.

Carter boasted, "Oh, Mira beat them up just the other day."

"Look at these folks," he gestured to the photos in the file. "They're all top-tier talents, infamous for being difficult. Yet, they've all rallied around her. People who were in the same prison with her mostly speak of her with fear. Some even admire her."

"She was once placed in the most chaotic prison block, housing special, high-risk inmates who weren't death row but were still dangerous. She quickly got them under control, earning the warden's trust. Her medical skills started gaining attention, and she was given a unique fast-track by the authorities."

"At that time, another department was responsible for talent protection, so we didn't hear about her until recently. Now, she's finally with us."
