Read Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back Chapter 379 - the best manga of 2020

Of the Elma Evert stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 379. Let's read the author's Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back Elma Evert story right here.

Miranda cleared her throat, "well, just friend."

Hugo had mentioned in passing that they had blocked Celeste, but Miranda hadn't inquired further. In their group chat, they occasionally complained about Celeste's constant pestering, but hadn't gone into much detail. Miranda had no idea what had gone down between them.

She was surprised to see Celeste show up here, of all places, to confront Hugo.

Miranda glanced at the person sitting across from Hugo. He looked vaguely familiar—had she seen him before at one of Marion's executive meetings? Not the ones at Flying Fish Entertainment, but those for the investment group.

Hugo's frown deepened as he listened, "Can't you just leave Miranda alone? She never bothered you. You're always gossiping behind people's backs, aren't you? I used to treat you like my own sister and helped you with everything. Turns out, you're exactly the kind of person I despise."

Celeste was taken aback, "What do you mean? What did I do?"

Hugo looked at her coolly, "You really have the nerve to ask? Wasn't it you spreading rumors about Miranda in Virell? You made her out to be something she's not, and I mistakenly believed you. Almost ruined my chance at being friends with her, you know?"

He couldn't keep his voice calm any longer, "She's been through so much, and yet you go around badmouthing her. How could you?"

Celeste retorted angrily, "She's just good at pretending in front of guys; otherwise, why would Elian be so taken with her?"

"Why didn't Mr. Ashcroft teach you a lesson too?" Hugo snapped, "He should've knocked some sense into you! I’m warning you, Celeste, if I catch you talking bad about Miranda again, you won't get away with it!" Hugo said coldly. "Your family should've warned you about this, too. It won't just be your problem—it'll be the whole Sterling family's issue!"

Celeste went pale. "She's just an adopted daughter of the Lancaster family. What kind of background does she really have?"

The man sitting across from Hugo adjusted his glasses, smiled faintly, but said nothing.

Hugo said curtly, "I've said what I needed to. You can leave now."

Celeste's chest heaved with anger, her eyes filled with frustration. "So, all the years we've known each other mean nothing compared to Miranda?"

"Miranda?"

Hugo asked curiously. "You know her too?"

The business partner across from Hugo chuckled awkwardly, "Who doesn't know her? She's quite famous. Even Mr. Smith treats her with utmost respect."

Seeing Celeste approach with such determination, Hugo stood up abruptly. "You’re not going to help her fight, are you, Mr. Bartley?"

Hugo picked up his phone and started recording. "Just getting some footage for her dad."

Of course, Hugo wouldn't just send the video to Celeste's father. He had connections and had learned about the people Miranda was connected to—those retired military bigwigs.

Some of them were acquaintances, not close, but sending a video their way was no big deal.
