Willow guessed that Julian had taken her away, but she couldn’t tell whether she was still in Brindley or not.

It was cold outside, so she didn’t stay on the balcony for long.

She returned to the bedroom and leaned against the headboard, quietly waiting for Julian’s arrival.

While waiting for him, everything felt so quiet, as if time had stopped.

About ten minutes later, Julian entered the room.

It was freezing outside, but inside the room, it was warm like spring. Julian wore a light gray shirt and black slacks. Under the morning light, his sharp features were particularly defined.

He walked over, knelt beside the bed, and gently took her hand.

Willow sat there in a white bathrobe, her long, dark hair flowing down her back. It exuded a fragile quality about her.

She didn’t say a word, but just lowered her gaze and stared at him.

Julian said gently, “What would you like for breakfast? A specialist will be coming this afternoon to check on you. Willow, I believe that if I search the world for the best doctors, we’ll find a way to restore your hearing.”

Willow didn’t respond and just continued looking at him in silence.
