“Just admit it. ” Rodney scoffed. “Catherine Jones, I’m giving you two options now. You can either go to jail or let my subordinates have their fun with you. Only then will I let you off the hook.”

Catherine chuckled. “For someone like you who isn’t even eligible to inherit the Snow family’s properties, you’re nothing. I’m sure this bunch of people are not the masters from Snow Corporation. If you guys have the guts, you can band together and attack me. Let me see how great you are.”

Rodney was so exasperated that his expression changed drastically. At this moment, Shaun had rushed over.

He slammed the brakes to stop in front of their cars. He immediately got out.

“I don’t want to suspect you either, but I’ve caught the person who works for you!” Shaun thundered, “ When you met him at the pub that day, you were instructing him to kidnap Sarah, right? If you say n o and deny your connections with him, I’ll get someone to kill him at once.”

“No!” Catherine said helplessly, “Shaun, there must be a misunderstanding. I hope you’ll investigate this matter thoroughly. It’s true that Logan works for me. He’s the bodyguard I hired from overseas. When I returned to Australia, you guys were still my enemies, so I had to get someone to protect me. I understand his character. He wouldn’t do such a thing.”

“Stop denying,” Rodney chimed in, “The truth is already right in front of your eyes. Logan just acted on your instructions. Who else would’ve instructed him to do so if not you? In the whole of Australia, only you and Freya hate Sarah.”
