"What did he do?" Sandy asked, terrified.

Wilbur's voice was dark. "Pumido isn't the proper religion you think it is. It's highly likely that they worship some form of evil demon. Please stop being fooled by them."

Sandy, Lilian, and the others shook their heads, clearly unable to believe Wilbur.

"Your elders aren't even human beings! How would three mortals turn into that disgusting mound of flesh that exploded all over Millerton?" Wilbur shouted.

His voice was laced with a hint of spiritual pressure, and Sandy and the others could not help but shiver.

They seemed to remember something and were finally open to admitting things they would not have been able to otherwise as they trembled in Wilbur's wake.

Just then, the other starving people let out a growl of unison before pouncing on each other.

"Please, sir, please save them." Sandy had finally returned to a logical state of mind as she began to beg Wilbur.

The sight made Sandy and Lilian go pale immediately, and they screamed in terror.

This was far more than anything they could take, and they were close to losing their minds.

Monstrous howls rang through Millerton. It was unclear how many people had been bitten to death by their companions now.

Wilbur was even willing to assume that these people were evolving through feasting on each other. If he were to let this go on, all of Millerton would be destroyed and a monster would come out of this capable of ruining everything, hellbent until it took over the world.
