As he slowly closed his eyes, Wilbur muttered a few chants. He then put his palms together and summoned the 'Time Reverse' spell.

It was a high-level spell that required a tremendous amount of spiritual energy and strength to cast. Only cultivators above the Sanctuary level were able to cast it.

Not long after, an image appeared before Wilbur's eyes.

A man in his thirties came into sight. He had a murderous expression on his face, his clothes torn and tattered. He broke down the door and barged straight into the room.

In the room was a lone woman. She screamed in terror as the man pounced at her. He pressed her to the ground and bit at her wildly.

The woman died a tragic death as her screams slowly died down and the man sucked up all her blood.

After he had drained the woman dry, there was a satisfied expression on the man's face. His body began to change as his muscles swelled and filled out the tattered clothes on his body.

Following that, he excitedly drew a skull next to the woman's body using her blood before leaving.

When he saw the sight before him, Wilbur retracted the Time Reverse spell and went outside.

"Any updates, sir?" Ronan was clearly a lot older than Wilbur and Ryder. However, he revered the two of them a lot and spoke in a very cautious manner.

Wilbur nodded. "I've got some info. Find me a professional sketcher. I'm going to get us a portrait of the suspect."

"Have you really got a lead?" Ronan found this quite hard to believe.

Wilbur nodded, and Ronan quickly returned to his senses as he hurried to call for a professional sketch artist from the police force. Once that was done, he returned to Special Forces with Wilbur and Ryder.

Due to the special authority that the Special Forces department held, it was not long before the sketch artist arrived to draw the suspect's portrait according to WIlbur's descriptions.

Once the portrait was done, Wilbur glanced at it and nodded his head. "Not bad. There's about a seventy-percent likeness with the actual suspect. Feed it to the facial recognition system and check the security footage within the vicinity. Let's see if we can tell which direction the suspect headed in."

"On it."

Ronan immediately did as he was told. In the meantime, Wilbur and Ryder got some rest in the guest room.

Wilbur and Ryder got out of the car. "Thank you. You can just wait here. We'll go after the guy," said Wilbur.

Ronan let out a long sigh of relief. That was great news.

Wilbur knew that no regular human being would be any match for Gobo now that he had taken on this new vampiric form. Ronan would only be a burden if he tagged along.

Just like that, Wilbur and Ryder set off up the hill.

Ronan looked around and got right back into his car. He locked all the doors, taking out his pistol as he sat down warily. He would be lying if he said he was not scared at that moment.

As Wilbur and Ryder trekked up the hill, there was a trail of deep footprints and trampled plants.

Ryder frowned. "These footprints are huge. They're not from any regular human being."

"Of course they're not. Gobo's now a vampire, so there's bound to be some physical changes after his transformation," said Wilbur as his footsteps quickened.
