Justin sat down and smiled at Asher. "I know you like paintings, old man, so I bought one for you. It's a Cezanne original, I put it at your gift table. I hope you enjoy it."

"Oh my, Justin! You really shouldn't have," Asher said with a shocked laugh.

Justin merely smiled. "Well, I can't show up at your seventieth birthday empty-handed, can I? It's a pretty decent painting, I think."

"You're too kind, Justin. Bring the painting over for me, Wesley. Be careful with it." It was clear Asher was more than satisfied with the gift.

Wesley nodded, heading over to the gift table and bringing the painting over to watch over it.

Justin looked around him but said nothing.

Asher piped up then, "Faye's flight got delayed. She should be arriving soon, though."

Justin merely smiled, saying nothing.
