"I've never regretted any of my actions, and nothing I've done has ever been worthy of my regret," Baron boasted. "So what if you're Sanctuary level? Power isn't everything, and neither are skills. I can do whatever I want to Cape, and you can't do anything about it."

Wilbur chuckled, shaking his head. "I don't think you understand people like me, with the way you think you've got us wrapped around your finger just because you've got power or money. I can live without Cape, but you're dead if you even try to put your hands on it."

Baron's gaze turned murderous, as he glowered at Wilbur.

Wilbur looked back at him in the eye without any intention of backing down.

"You dare go against this nation?" Baron asked coldly.

Wilbur let out a sneer of disdain. "What's this? Are you speaking on the nation's behalf here? Don't flatter yourself, buddy. You're nothing to me."

"What the hell did you just say?" Baron's voice was terrifyingly dark, his tone cold and piercing.

Wilbur said, "I think I made myself pretty clear."

"Keep that attitude up, and Cape's going to be shutting its doors. Wanna bet that the transfer documents will be out in just three days?" Baron threatened.

Wilbur shrugged. "I know it's possible, but you'll be dead if that happens too."

"You've got some nerve. No one has ever threatened me like this before, not even a Sanctuary level cultivator."

Baron had finally lost his temper. Behind him, Saber's finger twitched. An invisible aura began to spread out, swirling around the room.

Wilbur's expression darkened. He clenched his right fist, and it lit up with spiritual flames at once as a terrifying spiritual pressure began to spread throughout the room.

Saber took a step forward at once, all ten of his fingers shaking as ten black lines began to emerge from his fingers.

The air around the lines began to constrict, and even crack.

It was completely shattered seconds before hitting Saber, and the rampant spirit energy brushed right past him.

Just then, Wilbur let out a cry as a ray of silver light shot out of his mouth to strike Saber's forehead.
