Seamus gave it some thought before saying, "I guess the Neeses at least have the decency to do that much. Take Chad's body away, and everyone except Sawyer can leave as well."

"Bring Warner in," said Seamus.

The servant nodded, turning to leave.

Seamus turned to his son, shouting, "You'd better get your act together. Got it?"

Sawyer nodded reluctantly.

Not long after, Warner appeared at the living room entrance.

Seamus got up at once, all smiles as he welcomed Warner over and led him to the couch by the hand. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming, Warner? We're about to be in-laws soon, I could have given you a ride."

"Well, I'm here because of what happened earlier. I'd like to apologize to Sawyer," Warner said helplessly.

Seamus chuckled. "Oh, I've already forgotten about that. They're just kids who had a little disagreement, it's nothing! Besides, I've given Sawyer a good lecture. I can't believe he had the nerve to show up at your house and give you such trouble, I was actually going to go to yours with him to apologize."

Warner looked shocked by those words.

It seemed like the Rochers did respect the Neeses, after all.

Ever since Nees Corp ran into financial trouble, all of the Neeses' friends seemed to have disappeared. No one dared to get close to them at all, and Warner knew that it was just how things in this sycophantic world worked.

Only the Rochers had reached out offering help, even securing the deal with a marriage.

Despite the fact that Sawyer was a terrible person, the Rocher family business would at least ensure that Sarah would never have to worry about money after the wedding and the Neeses would revive their business.

Seamus turned around after that, his expression ashen as he sat down on the couch.

"You'd better be on your best behavior until the wedding, Sawyer. I'll have Elder Fornst take care of Wilbur once it's over so you can regain your dignity. Got it?" he asked.

Sawyer looked indignant but could only nod.

Seamus smirked. "We can do whatever we want with the Neeses after we get our hands on their business. Remember, the most useful method is always power."
