Sawyer asked cautiously on the side, "Father, did you absorb the power from the treasure?"

"That's right," Seamus admitted.

Sawyer quickly said, "Congratulations, dad. You've become the ultimate cultivator, and our family will rule the world."

"That's right. We are going to rule the world."

The abnormality on Seamus started to fade gradually, and he turned normal again.

Sawyer finally relaxed because his father looked too scary before.

"I won't tell anyone! I swear! Please have mercy on me, Dad. I'm your only son, right?"

Sawyer screamed in despair. He could not believe that his father was trying to kill him to keep a secret.

Seamus started to look cold and merciless. He said slowly, "Rest in peace. A father knows his son the best. I know who you are, and you can't keep a secret. Your passing is my safest bet. Go on, I can support our family on my own."

"Seamus Rocher! You're a monster! You won't even show mercy to your son! You're worse than an animal!" yelled Sawyer at the top of his lungs. He stared at his father angrily.

However, Seamus did not react and said coldly, "There's no success without sacrifice. You're the same as them, and you'll be sacrificed for the Rocher lineage. I'll remember all of your sacrifices."

"Dad! Dad! Have mercy on me!" yelled Sawyer in pain.
