The problem was that this lady was out of her mind, and a bit of a pain in the neck.
Just as he was hesitating, Warner had spoken up to let her in and that was that.
Warner had no choice either. She was here for Wilbur, and it would not be nice to turn her down.
A while later, Donna entered wearing a tight purple dress and a vintage bag.
Warner and the others' chests lurched at the sight of her, but there was nothing they could do about it.
Donna looked around her upon entering, chuckling at the sight. "What a party."
She headed over to Wilbur, sitting down right next to him.
Wilbur huffed, and Donna looked at him. "You don't mind, do you?"
"I don't." What else could he have said?
Donna smiled, pouring herself a glass. "I'll drink for being late."
She drained the contents of her glass in one go, refilling it another five more times before setting it down.
Anyone would have collapsed after drinking that much, but Donna seemed completely fine.
Everyone else, however, stared at her in shock.
The Cape team buried their heads into their plates, hardly daring to look up for a second.
Donna poured herself another glass, raising it and turning to Wilbur. "How about a toast to you, Mister Penn?"
Wilbur shrugged, picking up his glass and clinking it against Donna's.
The both of them drank, and Donna grinned at everyone else. "Why aren't you all eating? What's this?"
The others scrambled to stuff their mouths with food, and the banquet turned silent just like that.
No one dared to utter a single word, terrified that they would say the wrong thing.
Wilbur could tell as well that Donna was here for trouble, and said, "I don't know you, Miss Sue, and only let you in here out of courtesy. Please stop saying ridiculous things, or others might get the wrong idea."
"So, you're refusing to own up to it now, eh?" Donna stared at Wilbur, tears welling up in her eyes.
Wilbur was speechless. This girl was a natural at acting, practically Oscar-worthy.
"I'm warning you. Stop this right now. I'd be a lot less nice if you weren't friends with Sarah."
Wilbur felt like this would only spiral out of control if it went on, which was why his tone had sharpened.
All of a sudden, Donna took out a vegetable knife from her bag. She got to her feet, putting the knife to her neck as she stared at Wilbur with tears streaming down her face.
"What the hell are you doing?" Wilbur was stunned by this lady's actions.
Everyone else froze at the sight as well.
Just then, however, Donna sobbed, "You took my innocence away, but you're refusing to own up to it! I might as well die, then! I hope you'll be happy with that. Have a nice life!"
