Donna lowered her head once more.

A while later, she raised her head. "I'm sorry, Sarah. I lost my mind."

Sarah fell silent, staring at the ceiling in silence.

Wilbur spoke up then. "I might not be able to understand your sexuality, but I'll never be against it. The best life you can live is a complete one, and I hope you can learn to embrace life again."

He turned to leave after that.

Warner got to his feet at the sight of Wilbur.

Just as Wilbur was about to say something, his phone rang.

"What's up, Faron?"

"Still busy there, bro?"

"Almost done. What's up?"

"Faye's in the hospital."

"What the hell? What happened?"

"She just sprained her ankle and refused to get hospitalized," said Faron. "But I felt that it was best to be safe since you weren't here and made her get it checked out. The bone's been cracked a little, and she's going to have to be tended to."

"Good thinking," Wilbur nodded. "Have you been home lately?"

Faron smiled. "Yeah, I have."

"How was talking to your old man?"

"It is what it is," Faron said vaguely.

Wilbur did not ask much more. After all, this was a family matter that he was not a part of.
