Over at the diner at the Sanders gas station, Wilbur and the others were in the middle of a meal.

Fenler was one of the three main trails from Libia to Elberta, and thus there were many delivery trucks that passed by the place regardless of the bitingly cold weather.

Wilbur and the two women were also driving a truck, and thus they did not stick out to anyone at all.

Wilbur's eastern features did not attract much attention, but Monica and Betty could not say the same for themselves.

Monica, with her fashionable clothes and her perfect curves, had been hit on several times upon entering the diner.

As a young man traveling with two smoking hot middle-aged women, Wilbur soon attracted the envious stares of most of the other truck drivers in the diner.

"Hey, dude! Are you heading to Aidementon with those two foxes? I happen to be headed there, too! Why don't you let me give Blondie here a ride? Your food's on me, and I'll pay you an extra five hundred dollars. How's that?"

A sly-looking man sat down at Wilbur's table with a tray of his own, as if he was best friends with them.

Wilbur glanced at the man's face brimming with confidence, then at Monica who looked nothing but disgusted before shrugging with a chuckle. "Money's not a problem, my guy. She's all yours, as long as she's willing to go with you. Why don't you ask her?"

The man seemed overjoyed at Wilbur's words. To him, these two ladies seemed like they had been randomly picked up by Wilbur on the way.

This was extremely common in a country like Canada, and even the police would not meddle in trades like that.

Just as the man had gotten up, however, he was shoved back onto his seat by a pale arm.

A team of three officers had just entered the diner, and the female captain cast the man an icy look. "I could care less about a consensual business transaction, but I won't hesitate to lock up anyone who tries to start trouble!"

The beautiful captain grabbed the man by the hair, yanking it backward until their eyes met. "Did you hear what I just said?"

"I heard you, loud and clear. I swear, Captain, I'm not trying to start any trouble!"

The young man trembled under the captain's brashness like a child caught stealing.
