The voice ringing through the phone was sexy and confident, and Wilbur nodded after a brief pause. "Sure. I'll trust you this one time! However, this is a man's life I'm taking, and how can I just take your word that Derkley is an evil monster? I need proof that makes this guy deserving of death."

The lady on the call said, "Oh, Mister Penn. There are countless reasons why Derkley and his sons belong in hell. In fact, Enoff, the guy sitting right across from you, is a living example of that. Wilbur returned the phone to the man named Enoff before saying, "Let's go. Your boss says that you have proof of Derkley's crimes. Here's the deal. You give me the proof, and I'll be the judge of whether or not Derkley's worth killing."

Enoff was visibly emotional at Wilbur's words. He had been waiting for this day to come for twenty years!

"Yes, of course! Come with me, Mister Penn!" said Enoff, turning to leave.

Wilbur paid the bill with a tip, telling the waiter to let Monica and Betty know that he would be away to handle some things so they would not worry.

An innocent smile appeared on Leia's face at once, and she ran up to Wilbur. "How is Boss doing, Mister Penn? I haven't seen her in forever, you know. Mom always says she hopes I'll grow up to be as great as her and be able to protect others on top of myself!"

Wilbur looked at the little girl's earnest gaze and started to believe that these people were indeed working for that mysterious woman on the phone.
