Over on the winding road up the hill, Wilbur had just taken out one of Derkley's zombies when he realized that he could not sense Peele's presence anymore!

There were no other people he could sense around him, aside from an aura that appeared out of nowhere right before Peele disappeared.

"Did he run away? Or…"

Wilbur did not know what happened on the hill, but he blasted the zombie to pieces with his thunder powers so that it could not be used anymore before returning to the car and saying to Enoff, "Let's go. The guy has left."

Enoff nodded and continued driving towards Derkley's manor.

The manor was built beside the hill, with a stream around it. One would have to pass a stone bridge to get to Derkley Manor.

Wilbur, Enoff, and Watson pulled up to the stone bridge. Enoff stopped the car as there were four zombies standing at the bridge!

"I guess he's hellbent on holding me down, huh? Four zombies in one go, c'mon…" Wilbur mumbled to himself as he stared at the four zombies.

Wilbur got out of the car to take the zombies down, planning to pluck Derkley's head off his shoulders after that.

Right after Wilbur got out of the car, however, he could sense that there was an old man standing in the middle of a bridge. Next to the old man was Peele, who had stopped him at the winding road before.

Upon further confirmation, Wilbur was able to confirm that the old man was the aura he had sensed out of nowhere just now.

Furthermore, Wilbur could also sense that Peele was lifeless, and that old man's aura had a hint of Peele's aura in it!

"If you can run to your father before I take these zombies down, I'll spare your life. But if you can't make it, I promise you that you'll be next after I finish the zombies off!"

Watson took off running without a second thought.

Wilbur stepped towards the bridge and was shocked to realize that his body felt like it was stuck in a pile of invincible mud that delayed his movements greatly.

On top of that, three of the four zombies were attacking him from different directions.

"Is this… a formation?"
