"How do you think we should go about it, then?"

"From what I know, Wilbur Penn is currently staying in Aidementon at a house that belongs to a lady named Tina. She's dating him. Maybe we could kidnap her and force Wilbur to hand the gloves over."

Walton frowned, before saying, "We'll go with that. Remember, don't spare Wilbur or Tina before we get the gloves."

"Got it. But Wilbur's a cultivator, and I don't think I'm skilled enough to defeat him."

"What? Aren't you at mid Ambience level? Are you saying you can't beat Wilbur with your skills?"

"That's exactly what I'm saying. From the way I see it, we should lead Wilbur to the underground maze and have the Holy One kill him. That way, we'll have a shot at taking the both of them out if they go at each other too hard."

Tina inched closer to the masked man, which made him let out a smug chuckle. "I knew you were a good daughter, Tina. Are you willing to replace your mother as a hostage? Nod if you agree."

Tina nodded hard, her eyes reddened.

The masked man grabbed Tina, holding the dagger to her neck. Tina's mother was about to scream, but the masked man knocked her out.

"Be quiet. She's just unconscious. All you have to do now is come with me, and I promise your mother's going to be fine. If you don't do as I say, I can't promise what's going to happen."
