"Oh, it's my pleasure."

Marie saw Wilbur bent over the nature paintings to examine them, and she walked over to Tina with a kindly look. "You're gorgeous, Miss Tina."

Tina flushed scarlet in the face. "You're too kind, Madam Marie."

Madam Marie held Tina by the hand. "I'm old now, and I have some clothes from when I was younger that I never wore much. Why don't I take you to have a look at them? You can take anything you fancy."

Tina's face was practically burning. "Ah, I really shouldn't…"

"It's alright," said Madam Marie. "Come with me."

She led Tina into her room upstairs. Madam Marie had her servants bring out a few glamorous dresses before getting Tina to try them on.

"You look stunning!" Marie exclaimed. "It's like the gods sent you this dress as a gift."

Despite Tina's protests, Marie ended up wrapping the clothes up and bringing them out. Downstairs, Wilbur had finished inspecting the nature paintings and they had been wrapped up as well, and Harrod had the servants call the post office to pick the paintings up.

Madam Marie brought Tina up to Wilbur, who saw Tina's blushing face and touched her by the arm. "Are you alright?"

Tina shook her head bashfully. "I'm fine."

Madam Marie's eyes were teary as she said, "You two really are a match made in heaven. I have a son, but he works in the Allied States most of the year and hardly comes back. I've always wanted a daughter, too."

"Of course."

The two of them stepped away to a quiet corner, and Marie said, "Is there a question you still have, Mister Penn?"

"Oh, I just wanted to ask about the leather gloves. Can I know where you got them from, or if you could tell me about their backstory?"

"The leather gloves? Oh, I'm so sorry. The gloves belonged to my father's own collection. I don't know where they came from."

The gloves contained the power of light, which was a power that directly opposed the power of destruction. Wilbur wanted to know everything there was to know about this.
