Tina widened her eyes in shock at the sea of knights outside of the ball of light. "Is… Is this going to work?"

Paul glanced at Wilbur. "It seems like the Light Warrior has found his fated match. Well then, let me help you out."

The ball of light was swallowed by the black miasma, becoming smaller and smaller. Just as it was about to crack, Paul reached out and held the ball of light up with his hands. Following that, he radiated a powerful white light that made the ball of light begin to grow in size.

However, the growth quickly came to a halt as the knights in the tornado began pouring in their attacks.

Kyra looked at the howling knights, looking at Paul worriedly. "How much longer can we hold on for, Mister Paul?"

"Don't worry. You'll be fine as long as I'm here, Kyra."

Paul was a hardy man who took his responsibilities seriously. Just as the power of light in his body was about to run out, he turned to look at Wilbur kneeling on the ground and an idea came to him.

It was impressive enough that this young man could endure it to this extent, but Damon was far too powerful. The man had nine flame crystal cores! Paul was a man, and he could not bear the thought of dying after Kyra!

Just then, the dragon's head on Wilbur's back lit up once more. It let off a brilliant red glow, and Wilbur felt a powerful warmth spread from his palms through his body. At the same time, the ball of light was nurtured and began growing in size rapidly once more.

The ball of light continued to grow as the knights outside continued to be consumed by the ball of light. They eventually disappeared as more and more power of destruction was turned into the power of light, entering Wilbur's body continuously.

The dragon's head on Wilbur's back devoured the power of light wildly like it had been starved for ages. Wilbur had nothing to worry about now that the power of light had a place to go, and focused on absorbing it as the ball of light grew in size.

The gigantic ball of light even grew to a size where it was almost capable of overpowering the Destructive Domain. Damon saw all of this and felt unbelievably humiliated.

Wilbur leaped up, radiating a silver glow all over as he gripped the thunder cleaver. "All darkness shall come to an end! To hell with you!"

Wilbur moved very quickly, and the thunder cleaver fell as Damon stood frozen, unsure what to do. At the very last second, a gloved hand grabbed Damon from the back before yanking him a dozen meters away.

Damon turned around and saw that it was the man in the black robes.

"Thank you for saving my life, Master."

The man in the black robes said coldly, "Remember this: your life belongs to me. Never act on your own accord without my orders."

A gigantic snake made of black miasma slowly straightened its body as Wilbur came charging over with the thunder cleaver once more.
