Ralph could tell what Paul was thinking. "Paul, you should know how terrifying the virus is. The kid might be innocent, but if we don't kill him he's going to kill others and more innocent people will die."

"We can't afford to go easy on the virus."

Paul nodded, furrowing his brows all of a sudden. "Is it possible for us to co-exist with the virus? As long as he doesn't kill others, we won't kill him. Can we do that?"

Ralph stared at Paul for a beat, before shaking his head. "The virus isn't the same as us. It might have been an artifact left behind from a different time, or it could be an alien from a different planet altogether. Either way, it's not the same as we are. Do you understand?"

"But…"

"Listen to me, Paul. The virus operates in a completely different culture than us. We share none of its values and thoughts. If we keep it around, it might see us the way robbers view a bank safe. That's terrible for all of the human race."

"Alright. I know what to do."

Paul was about to leave when he thought of Damon and turned around to look at Ralph. "Mister Ralph, that Damon guy is completely shameless. He has zero boundaries."

"I see. Don't worry, I'll have someone deal with it."

"He's very powerful."

"Okay."

That afternoon, two men in suits headed over to Greensource Corp. They were granted access after showing the relevant documents of identity and made their way over to Damon's office.

Damon was pretty angry at the intrusion. "Who are you? Did I say you could come into my office?"

One of the men took out a license. "We're from the Scarlet Leaf Faction. Please cooperate with us for our investigation and come with us, Mister Damon."

Damon bound the two men together with ropes before upending a bucket of water on their faces to wake them up.

"What the… Where are we?"

"Where is this?"

The two men in suits looked around in terror as Damon leaned over with a sneer. "Take a better look. You're in my house, and now you're at my mercy."

Upon saying so, Damon turned over to the man in the black robes with an uncomfortable expression on his face. "Why don't I just kill them and let Paul come and pick their corpses up?"

"No. Lock them up."
