"Damon is my pupil. Defeat him if you can and die if you can't!"

Wilbur put his hands together, muttering a string of chants before roaring, "Dragon's Safehaven!"

All at once, a bright-colored ray of light appeared above Wilbur's head and completely enveloped him. Following that, the air rumbled loudly as Damon swung his sword against the Dragon's Safehaven to no effect at all.

"You bastard! How many more secrets do you have?"

Damon swung his long sword over and over again against the Dragon's Safehaven, when the man in the black robes said, "So you're one of the chosen ones too."

"Huh? Are you talking to me?"

"That's right. The chosen ones all have a special talent that no one else has, and yours has successfully drawn my attention. I've killed twenty chosen ones before you to get their talent, and you'll be the twenty-first."

"What?"

Wilbur had no idea what the Dark Messenger was talking about, but he was definitely shocked at the words. This guy had killed twenty chosen ones, which meant he must be terrifyingly powerful.

If the Dark Messenger were to join forces with Damon against Wilbur, Wilbur would be dead by tonight.

The air continued to rumble as Damon's flurry of blows clashed against the Dragon's Safehaven.

The Dragon's Safehaven expired just then, and Wilbur scrambled to take a big leap backward to avoid Damon's attacks. Following that, Wilbur sensed Damon's location and continued to move around while observing Damon's attacking habits.

Wilbur was able to figure out a pattern eventually, and an enraged Damon seemed to have no intention of stopping. Damon had completely lost rationality by then, and Wilbur put his palms together after two big leaps as he muttered a string of chants. "Show yourself, Light of Dragon!"

As his words rang through the air, a golden dragon appeared on top of Wilbur's head. It wrapped itself around Wilbur's arm, casting a golden glow as it began channeling a powerful force.

The man in the black robes sensed the power of the Light of Dragon and scrambled to say, "You'd better watch out, Damon!"

"Yes, Master!"
