"Is that so?" Wilbur smirked.

He stepped back quickly, summoning the thunder cleaver once more as Ralph charged towards him. "There's nowhere for you to run anymore, Wilbur! Just accept your fate!"

Ralph extended his arms once more, clawing at Wilbur. Wilbur swung the thunder cleaver in his grasp, chopping Ralph's hands off once more. Yet the purple tentacles on Ralph's arm continued slithering over.

"You can't run, Wilbur! Accept your fate!"

Ralph's tentacles wrapped themselves around Wilbur like vines, uncaring of Wilbur chopping off the tentacles as they continued to grow and extend on their own.

"God, this is boring. It seems like you aren't afraid of death at all. I thought I'd be able to see fear in your eyes, but it's clear you hardly think much of this. Well then, you can just die!"

Ralph's tentacles stiffened all of a sudden, reaching out toward Wilbur from multiple directions. Wilbur was completely surrounded by black miasma all of a sudden, which formed an armor that the tentacles could not pierce through. Instead, the tentacles were torn to pieces upon contact with the black miasma.

"What?"

Ralph stared at Wilbur in shock, whose pupils had turned jet-black then. The thunder cleaver was black as well, flickering with pale blue lightning and glowing symbols. "You've pissed me off, Ralph. To hell with you!"

Wilbur swung his cleaver viciously and it came hurtling toward Ralph, imbued with the power of destruction. Ralph scrambled to cross his arms in front of himself defensively. The blade aura struck Ralph's arm and sent him flying back several meters, crashing against the lab table, and knocking all the test tubes on it to the floor.

"You're going to disappear along with this place tonight, Wilbur Penn!"

Just as Ralph's tentacles were about to absorb everything, Wilbur turned to run. The tentacles behind him broke a hole in the door as he rushed out.

Wilbur charged forward for over a dozen meters. When he stopped, he saw that Ralph's tentacles had already pierced through the entire headquarters. Parts of the building were corroded by the tentacles bit by bit as if Ralph's tentacles were made of a powerful acid.

The entire building collapsed in a blink of an eye, kicking up an enormous cloud of dust. There seemed to be a gigantic creature slithering around within the dust cloud, and Wilbur felt an ominous feeling washing over him.
