Soon enough, the new guide on duty walked over. "Mister Penn, Madam Judy has made it clear that there's no changing her mind on the bronze cauldron, and she hopes you won't come here anymore."
"Anything could happen. I understand where Madam Judy is coming from, but I'm sure I'll be able to touch her heart with my determination. Madam Judy will eventually sell the cauldron to me."
The guide's face flushed. She was going to ask Wilbur to leave, only for him to be so fiercely confident that she had no choice but to say, "Alright, then. Do as you wish."
Wilbur came out of the museum and received a call from Layla.
"Sir, according to the latest news, the deputy leader of the Black Panthers, Bernard Stoli, is on his way to Migorn with the other three members of the Black Panthers. All eight members will gather in Migorn by noon today. Their next step will probably be to team up and go after you."
"Please be careful, sir."
"Of course. Don't worry about me. I can handle a few stray panthers."
Wilbur hung up the phone and returned to his hotel. Despite the fact that the Black Panthers were not that powerful, they had somehow learned a high-level invisibility spell that also hid their auras.
If they were to attack Wilbur in that state, it would not be great for Wilbur. Because of this, Wilbur went and got himself a set of wind chimes at the mall that he hung by his balcony. He sat cross-legged on his bed after that, channeling his dragon aura to rest.
With the door of his hotel room shut, the only way to get in without making a sound was the balcony. Now that the wind chimes had been hung there, Wilbur would get ready as soon as they rang.
Bernard was nothing but confused. After all, his master had said before that the Black Panthers' goal was none other than to stop regular mortals from discovering the Nine Dragons Cauldrons while waiting for a chosen one to come by. Anyone who could be killed and hunted by the Black Panthers would not be this chosen one.
Many cultivators had found out about the cauldrons over the years, but none of them had even passed the test. If someone managed to pass the test, that meant that all eight members of the Black Panthers would have to die.
That was why Perry's words had shocked Bernard. After all, all the members of the Black Panthers had been rescued by their master, and they would have been dead otherwise. Thus, they had sworn their loyalty to their master in gratitude and repayment.
Someone had found out the secret of the Nine Dragons Cauldrons again, and Bernard had thought that this would be another easy kill, only for Perry to say that Wilbur was most likely the chosen one their master was looking for.
