All of a sudden, the woman atop the spider spread her arms. The spider began to radiate a black miasma that turned into a defensive wall. All three of the Holy Archer's arrows struck the wall instead.

The defensive wall did not crumble, and the arrows' energy was quickly absorbed by the black miasma and converted to become a part of the spider.

"Oh, no. Why does this monster seem to have human-like abilities? How is it able to channel its energy to absorb others? There just seems to be no way to kill it. In fact, it will only grow stronger if it cannot be killed."

"Leave it to me."

Wilbur gripped the halberd before charging over. Despite knowing that he could kill the spider immediately with the power of destruction, Wilbur wanted to know if he could do it just with spiritual energy.

Would he stand a chance against the black spider if he was not the chosen one? Getting closer and closer, Wilbur leaped into the air whipping the halberd around before attacking fiercely in the black spider's direction.

The shadow of a halberd appeared above Wilbur's head as the woman spread her arms wide. Another defensive wall made out of the black miasma appeared above the woman's head, and the halberd struck against it.

A loud rumbling sound rang through the air as the earth shook. The tremendous force kicked up a powerful wind that blew fiercely in all directions.

Tracy stood from a distance and could not help but say, "That's some power."

Wilbur was very interested in the aura the woman was controlling, as it seemed to be somewhat similar to the power of destruction. She would not be this powerful otherwise. Despite the fact that Wilbur had the power of light and the power of destruction in him and knew how to borrow it, he did not know how to control them perfectly.

Wilbur would be even stronger if he learned how to control and channel the two middle dimension powers as he pleased, but the dimensional laws of a middle dimension were very hard to understand as someone from a lower dimension. Wilbur wanted to interact with this spider more and learn how it controlled its mysterious aura.

Despite the spider coming from a different dimension, it was currently in the same dimension as Wilbur. That was what made Wilbur feel like he would be able to learn how the spider controlled its powers.

In the next ten minutes, Wilbur continued dodging the attacks while still keeping a close distance. He enveloped the spider in his dragon aura so he could sense the spider's every move. To Wilbur's shock, he discovered that the aura controlled by the spider was completely forged out of evil thoughts.
