Wilbur left the hotel and could not help but bark out a laugh of indignation at the image of the eight Black Panthers taking their own sweet time to enjoy their food. Rostead had a huge storm coming for them, but these guys seemed oh so calm, even ordering their food and having Wilbur pay for it.

He wandered on the streets for a while before stopping abruptly and looking up at the sky in confusion, thinking, 'Could it be that those guys have seen someone even more powerful than the Shadow King? Were they holding back in that last battle against me?'

Wilbur shook his head, hailing a cab and making his way to the airport. One could get to Rostead from Terya by plane or ferry, but Wilbur chose to fly there due to the time constraint.

The two countries were close enough to each other, and Wilbur landed at Korlyn International Airport in less than two hours.

Upon getting into a cab, Wilbur dialed the number of Locke Jackson, the head of the Jackson family.

"Hello, who is this?"

"Mister Locke, my name is Wilbur Penn. I feel deeply sorry over what happened to your son, Hart Jackson, and I hope you're managing your grief well."

Locke's tone was icy. "You're the jade dealer who gave Molton that confidence boost, Wilbur Penn, right?"

Wilbur took a deep breath. "I don't know what you mean, Mister Locke, but I'm sure there's been a misunderstanding. Indeed, I have met with Molton, but it was purely for business. I have no idea what kind of person Molton is, actually."

"Very well. Why are you calling me, then? Do you need help of any sort?"

By two-twenty in the afternoon, Wilbur had shown up at Locke's study. He thanked the butler, who walked out of the room and shut the door. Wilbur looked at Locke, who was currently sitting on a rattan chair by the window.

The rays of the evening sun shone through the window onto Locke's figure. He was holding a photo of Hart, wiping it over and over again in a dazed state. Time seemed to stop, and it was as if he could still feel Hart's presence.

"I'm here, Mister Locke."

"Ah, Mister Penn. I'd like to know what it is you came looking for me for. If it's about Molton, there's not much for you to worry about. I've gotten to the bottom of the grievances between him and my son."
