Wilbur opened the box and saw the cauldron fragment lying in there safely.

"What… What's going on here? Didn't I say that I didn't want it anymore? I don't want two hundred thousand people to die because of a choice I made."

"Lawrence."

Kennard looked sharply at Lawrence, who promptly shut up.

"Thank you."

Wilbur emerged from the well, returning to his hotel with the wooden box. He was in no hurry to take out the dragon cauldron fragment to read its spirit message this time. Instead, he put the box away into his demiplane. Wilbur wiped away his tears and walked out into the bustling streets.

Wilbur spent seven whole days in Wrecknam, during which he fully experienced the warmth of the city's inhabitants. He contemplated many things and even hiked up the city walls to reminisce on his memories with Caitlyn.
