A deafening roar cut through the air, and then the cave fell silent as the vortex of black miasma disappeared as well.

Wilbur looked around him. Everyone else had run into a building as they stared at the cave in terror.

Upon recovering from the initial shock, the survivors fell to the ground and began to sob. Most of their family members had been sucked into the cave just now.

Someone stood up then to say, "There's a beast in the cave, and the authorities must be informed so that it can be dealt with. Otherwise, none of us are going to live the next time it shows up."

Tommy looked at the cave. Upon spotting Wilbur making his way towards it, he shouted, "Hey, don't go!"

Tommy was about to yank Wilbur back, but the people around him held him down.

Dennis stopped short on the call, before asking, "H-How did you know about that?"

"I'm in the cave right now. Don't worry, I'll handle this."

Wilbur ended the call and made his way further into the cave. Upon walking about two hundred meters, an enormous energy field appeared in front of him. Wilbur had done a good amount of research on formations when he was learning from Orkot and knew that every formation had its own energy field.

This energy field showing up meant that there had to be a formation ahead. Rindo Mine had been around for quite some time, and this beast living here would have shown up a long time ago.

That was proof that there was definitely a special formation here, and it had now been activated because something happened, and it was going to release the beast inside of it.

No one would believe that the beast trapped within the formation was a dragon, but Wilbur had heard that roar clearly enough to know that it belonged to one.
