"I won't let you down, Honorable Child of Light!"

"Ha!"

Someone sneered audibly all of a sudden. Wilbur turned around at the sound, and a chill ran down his spine as he gasped aloud upon realizing who it was.

The Dark Messenger hovered in mid-air with his arms crossed in front of his chest, smirking as he said, "I'm afraid that's a wish that will never come true. Honestly, the Child of Light was just delusional from the start. Back then, the Child of Light and I battled all the way to the lower dimensions."

The Dark Messenger scoffed, then continued, "He was no match for me down here, and now he's delusional enough to be looking for a fated chosen one in the lower dimensions to complete his selfish wishes for him. What was he thinking, asking a lower-dimension cultivator to do something even a middle-dimension cultivator couldn't do? Don't you think that's ridiculous?"

Wilbur glowered at the Dark Messenger. He resented the Dark Messenger to no end yet could not help feeling the sting of those words. Wilbur, too, had the idea that the Child of Light had gotten the wrong guy. What made the Child of Light think that Wilbur could take on the Dark Messenger?

The thought made Wilbur grit his teeth, and he spat out, "That's not it. I believe the Child of Light had his reasons for doing this!"

"Hahahaha!"

The Dark Messenger smirked condescendingly. "You've grown overly confident, Wilbur Penn. I'm sure you know yourself that you're frightfully ordinary. You'll never be a match for me. The Child of Light's wishes are just an impossible dream."

"No, that's impossible!"

The Dark Messenger threw his head back, barking out a laugh before looking back at Wilbur. "You're far too confident, Wilbur. You're nothing more than a prey that I have set my sights on. I shall be the ninth evil god after Bahamut!"

The Dark Messenger's gaze glinted coldly before bursting into a sprint towards Wilbur. All at once, Wilbur was filled with a sudden boost of courage as he summoned the Magic Dragon Blade to meet the Dark Messenger's attack.

The Dark Messenger took out a black sword as well, staring down at Wilbur coldly as he swung the weapon against Wilbur.

The two weapons clashed together loudly in the air!
