However, the thought made Wilbur light up the very next second. Despite not being able to stick to his usual strategy, he could flip it around and use it to his advantage. Since Johnson was not splitting the robots up into three groups, Wilbur could also use his clones to attack them from three different points.

That way, the two clones would divert some of the bullets away from Wilbur and he could still attack the robots.

However, there was still a flaw in the plan. Wilbur might have mastered his cloning spell to the highest level, but he could not use them again for an hour.

That would mean that once the clones disappeared, Wilbur would not be able to use them to escape from the robots' attacks for an hour. All he could do was buy himself time.

Wilbur would do the same thing in the next few days and was able to destroy ten robots each day. It was not long before the robot army had been whittled down to five hundred robots.

One day, Wilbur attacked once more. The five hundred robots got into a formation, attacking all three Wilburs at the same time. Two hundred of them attacked the two other clones, and the remaining three hundred attacked the real Wilbur.

Ten seconds later, after Wilbur had demolished a robot, another one hundred robots turned to fire at the real Wilbur. All four hundred robots were attacking him, and only a hundred were going after his clones. Their behavior made Wilbur grow suspicious.
