The magical tower was actually a special dimension resulting from a combination of light and dark energy in the universe. A kind person would be turned into light energy after their death, and an evil person would be turned into dark energy. In a dimension that was not ruled by evil gods, dark energy could be reborn again.

Things on Earth were a little special. It was not considered a Light World, nor was it controlled by evil gods. Light energy could be reborn, whereas dark energy would sink downwards under the control of the evil gods before leaving Earth altogether to become a part of them.

There were somehow still some good thoughts in Johnson, and he was reborn in the magical tower by pure coincidence. However, Johnson was still plagued by the past despite being reborn and did not want to remain in the magical tower as its puppet.

Johnson knew that he would disappear if Wilbur were to die or pass the first level of the tower. That would result in Johnson turning back into dark energy and melding into the body of evil gods once more. Thus, Johnson could only truly return to Earth once the evil gods took control of it.

The army of robot panthers came charging over, leaping into the air one by one in an attempt to bite at Wilbur. Their fangs were sharp and strong, and Wilbur would be torn to shreds in mere seconds if they managed to land a bite of him.

In the next second, countless lasers struck the ball of light. However, the ball of light was unaffected. Instead, it absorbed the lasers to form more translucent layers around itself as it grew several times its size.

Johnson was stunned by the sight, then his gaze eventually turned murderous. "The bastard's absorbing the lasers! Alright, let's just see how long your powers can last!"
