"Master!" Felix cried out.

He then glared at Babbit, exclaiming, "You killed my master! I'm going to kill you!"

Felix's eyes grew bloodshot at the sight of Wilbur kneeling stiffly. A white, glowing armor appeared around him as he charged toward Babbit, aiming a sharp punch toward his face.

Babbit raised his right hand. A black vortex appeared in his palm, sucking the energy right out of Felix's attack as he grabbed Felix's fist. "Stop, Felix! You've got the wrong idea here!"

"The wrong idea? You killed my master! There's no wrong idea to get here!"

Boom!

A black energy ball exploded out of Babbit's palm, sending Felix flying. He crashed against the ground heavily, and Babbit glanced at Wilbur coldly. "You were calling this guy your master? I thought I was your master, Felix Horne!"

Felix blinked, his mind racing. "Wilbur saved my life, I would be dead without him! What's wrong with me calling him my master?"

The truth was that Babbit hated Wilbur and Edmund to no end, but the situation at hand was pretty urgent. If the other City Lords were to sense the energy aura in the Azure Dragon Lake growing stronger, they would grow suspicious for sure. To keep his position as City Lord, Edmund had no choice but to return to the Reyne family grounds with the two men for now.

Of course, Babbit knew that this was just temporary. Once the City Lords lowered their guards against him, Babbit was going to kill Wilbur and Felix first thing. These two knew way too much about him and were going to cultivate in the Azure Dragon Lake.

Babbit hated nothing more than having his enemies grow stronger. He considered sparing Felix's life in the past and training him to be stronger, but what happened today had proven that Felix was not to be trusted as well. Someone like that had no place in Babbit's life at all, let alone as a servant.

Babbit returned to Buck Town with Wilbur and Felix in tow, heading to the Azure Dragon Lake. He snapped his fingers, and Wilbur walked into the lake. He stood in the middle of the water, his gaze hollow as ever.
