"To hell with you!" Mike roared, stabbing his sword in Wilbur's direction. He was certain that Wilbur would not be able to avoid the attack, and him intercepting the attack meant for Felix was just a coincidence. Wilbur was, without a doubt, doomed.

Just as Mike was certain he had succeeded, Wilbur's Magic Dragon Blade appeared once more. He had somehow predicted exactly where Mike would be, intercepting his attack flawlessly.

Wilbur smirked at Mike. "Looks to me like your sword's a little too slow for the game."

"What the…"

Mike glowered at Wilbur, shock flickering in his gaze. He muttered another spell, then appeared on Wilbur's left in the next second to swing an attack at him. Mike was a lot faster this time. He was taking the battle seriously now.

Clang!

Sparks flew through the air as Wilbur deflected the blow once more. Both swords collided with each other, and Mike's eyes were bloodshot. "You f*cking bastard! You blocked my attack! You're f*cking dead, I swear!"

It was just then that Dorrah had spotted the battle between the two men. Mike was a Senior Guard and a talisman cultivator, and Dorrah had intended for him to launch a surprise attack to kill Babbit when the chance arose.

Dorrah and Grote were on the same team, and Conrad was just on Babbit's team because he knew Babbit was powerful. Once Babbit was dead, Conrad would be toast.

Mike glowered at Wilbur but had no choice as he muttered a spell and disappeared once more to appear behind Babbit. Wilbur heaved a sigh of relief. He thought that Babbit would be powerful enough to spot Mike for sure. Yet Babbit was still engaged in battle against Dorrah, oblivious to Mike appearing right behind him.

Wilbur widened his eyes in shock. Babbit had cultivated in the Azure Dragon Lake, and the Azure Dragon aura would help one sense any energy aura around them for sure. How could Babbit not know that Mike was right behind him?
