"What? Why do I see him enter the lake every day, then?"

Wilbur was shocked to hear this. Babbit cultivated in the Azure Dragon Lake every day for two hours. Why would he do that if he could not absorb the energy aura in there at all?

Edmund hasn't secured his position in Buck Town just yet, and he's wary that the other City Lords might attack him. So, he's tricking them into thinking that he's benefiting from Buck Town's energy aura resource."

Firton turned to leave, and Babbit stared after him as he thought of what George had said before. A talisman creator could Flash Step anywhere within their energy aura, but Wilbur had been able to guess where Mike was every time.

That could only mean that Wilbur was a dragon clan cultivator, or that he had absorbed the special energy aura in the Azure Dragon Lake and gained the ability to sense the energy aura around him.
