The white dragon disintegrated into dust and vanished, while a mass of black mist rapidly spread out like a spider web. The sky within a few hundred meters was instantly covered by the black web. Wilbur glanced up at the web in the sky, then looked down at the mist below.

At that moment, the mist abruptly gathered up and formed a black sphere. Hadirt stood within the sphere and glared menacingly at Wilbur. A sudden sense of foreboding welled up within Wilbur. Then, numerous tendrils extended from the black web above, swiftly entangling the cultivators in the sky.

Wilbur watched as a cultivator was pulled into the web by the tendrils, only to be instantly consumed. Streams of energy flowed through the network of the web, all converging into the black sphere below. Hadirt was absorbing the energy from the cultivators!

"Sir!" a cultivator yelled.

Suddenly, Felix, Grote, Edmund, and the others rushed over. Wilbur glanced at them and asked, "Where's Locke?"

"Locke?" they asked.

Everyone looked around, but no one saw Locke. Suddenly, Augheimer said, "Look. Is that Locke?"

Everyone looked down upon hearing that, and they saw Locke charging toward the black sphere below. A massive fist formed of cyan light instantly struck the black sphere with a swift motion of his right hand.

However, the unexpected attack did not occur. The fist was swallowed by the black sphere, and Hadirt laughed, saying, "Haha, you want to attack me? Unfortunately, it's simply impossible with your level of cultivation!"

Dozens of tentacles extended from the black sphere, wrapping around Locke and dragging him inside as Hadirt laughed.

Locke was instantly absorbed by the black sphere, his energy was transferred into Hadirt's body. Meanwhile, tentacles continued to extend from the web in the sky, reaching out toward the others.

Then, a black vortex was formed. It started to absorb Hadirt's energy instead.

Hadirt trembled all over. He never expected that Wilbur would sacrifice himself to an evil god, becoming its minion. An ancient voice could be heard from Wilbur at that moment, "I haven't seen you in a long time, Hadirt. How dare you do this to me? You're going to die today!"

Hadirt widened his eyes and said with shock, "Dark Lord! Y-You're not dead? No! My Lord, please! Spare me!"
