After catching his breath, Eugene quickly knelt and prostrated himself on the ground, awaiting Dubond's orders. With his back to Eugene, Dubond said, "Eugene, I'll give you one more chance. Go now and kill Trevor. Within the hour, I want you to return with his head."

The collar shattered into pieces, falling to the ground. Eugene then changed his appearance and made his way to the teleportation array in the main square of Tevinter Town.

As the teleportation array activated, Eugene caught sight of Dubond, whose hateful glare filled Eugene with a sense of satisfaction. Since Dubond never treated him as a human being, Eugene decided he would no longer serve him.

With a flash of white light, Eugene disappeared from the teleportation array. Furious, Dubond shouted, "Damn bastard! One day, I'll tear you to pieces!"

Standing nearby, Fred respectfully suggested, "My lord, why don't I go to Walker Town to search for Eugene? I'm confident I can bring him back to you."
