"Conrad? What the hell?"

Wilbur's eyes widened in shock as Conrad smirked at him. "Oh, Wilbur. Did you really think I hadn't noticed you following me around for a month?"

"I'll let you in on a little secret. All of this was Mister Odysseus' plan. You thought that you'd be able to hide the fact that you and Augheimer killed Adela, but Mister Odysseus knew about this a long time ago. He's been plotting for three months, all so he could kill you today. Didn't you really want to kill me, Wilbur? Come on, go for it! Once you step out of that formation, you'll be able to take me down for sure. You wouldn't give your life up for something like that though, would you? You selfish bastard, your cultivation wouldn't even be enough for you to hold up in the upper dimensions! You'd be dead for sure!"

Conrad glowered at Wilbur as if he wanted to grind him to a pulp between his teeth. After all, Wilbur was the reason Conrad and Edmund were in this state. The two of them had no power and status in Tevinter Town and were constantly at the mercy of others.

At last, the time had come for them to avenge their injustice. Whether Wilbur chose to stay or head to the upper dimensions, he would not be able to return to the middle dimensions in the next few thousand years. In fact, he might even die in the upper dimensions and be gone for good.

Conrad would be able to return to the Albert family in Buck Town, regaining his power and status as its family leader.

Just then, Augheimer rasped feebly to Wilbur, "Just leave, Wilbur. You won't be able to change our fate even if you stay to help. I won't blame you for any of this."

"Shut the f*ck up!" Ramont roared. "Wilbur, I order you to take me with you!"

"No, no! Leave! Leave right now!" Augheimer howled despite his injuries, wanting nothing more than for Wilbur to escape. He knew that even if Wilbur was able to save him, Odysseus would not let either of them go.

Everyone would end up dead. Wilbur deserved to live, and he should!

White light flashed in the air as Odysseus stabbed Augheimer's other hand, and he ground his teeth together as he tried to control his emotions through the pain.

Odysseus smirked at this. "If Augheimer can't change your mind, I'm sure this will. Augheimer's going to die, so I get that he wouldn't be that worth saving."
