Faye wriggled around in Wilbur's arms as she slowly woke up, with her movements stimulating Wilbur even more.

For a split second, Wilbur had the urge to carry Faye right to his room and get it over and done with.

The hunchback elder holding a skull cane appeared before the throne once again, bowing deeply. "O' Honorable Blood God, the spirit of our seventh apostle has dimmed forever. We have also lost contact with his Blood Embryo."

A long silence later, the tall figure spoke up in a deep, dull voice, "It appears that we finally have an expert who is powerful enough."

"Yes, Honorable Blood God. That seems to be the case."

Another long pause later, the figure on the skull throne said, "Have the ninth apostle go this time, with a Blood Embryo as well."

The elder bowed deeply, turning around and vanishing from sight.

Over at Joy Corp, in Kim Jenkins' office, a beautiful woman with stunning features in her thirties was currently sitting across from her.

"It's an honor to meet you, Madam Chez." Kim got to her feet, bowing in respect.

The woman, Sabrina Chez, flashed a smile. "Don't mention it, Madam Jenkins. We're equals here."

Kim sat down with a smile of her own. "You work for the High Lady, so I should be paying my respects."

"Thank you for the gesture, but let's get into Project M now. The High Lady cares greatly about it," said Sabrina.

Kim nodded, picking up a proposal on her table and flipping through it. "We'll arrange for you to be in contact with Orin Campbell as the vice chairman of Joy Corp, but it's up to you to convince him to join us."
