While Whitney was secretly speculating, she suddenly noticed a familiar figure sneaking inside. That person sat down by the buffet table at the side and filled his plate with food before wolfing down the contents on his plate in a corner.

Whitney was stunned for a moment. She thought her eyes were playing tricks on her.

After some time, she was finally sure that it was Wilbur.

That guy actually dared to sneak in here for food! Was he really that hungry? Furthermore, just what the hell was he wearing?

After arriving with Faye, he had Skyler enter the hall with Faye as he quietly snuck in. His plan was to just casually hang around in there while keeping Faye company.

"Absolutely," Wilbur replied without even looking up.

Wilbur swallowed a mouthful of food and said, "It's true that I don't have an invitation."

Why would he need an invitation to attend an event hosted by his company? That would be the joke of the century.

However, Whitney accused, "Without an invitation would mean that you snuck in here. So, what's your goal? Who are you trying to con? You need to know the people here are elites of our society. They're not as naive and gullible as Shelby and me."

"Since when did I lie to Shelby? What are you trying to imply?" Wilbur frowned.

Just then, Whitney told Lucas, "Mister Draker, this guy is a charlatan. A few days ago, he tried to win over the heart of my friend and made ridiculous claims, offending quite a few of my friends. They're now ignoring me because of that. He's despicable."

Lucas frowned, then said, "Is that so? How can someone like him be allowed into an event like this? I'll have the guards throw him out."

Whitney interjected, "There's no need to rush. I'm sure he's up to something. Let's have the guards ask him how he managed to sneak in here without an invitation and what he's up to. We can't let others fall for his lies."
