Faye's beauty was no secret in all of Eagle City, or Justin would not have even considered marrying someone from the Yves family.

Just then, an arrival was announced at the door.

"Miss Faye Yves has arrived."

Everyone looked over at the entrance, fighting for a chance to get a glimpse of the prettiest woman in all of Eagle City.

Even Justin's gaze flashed with interest and excitement.

He had seen photos of Faye before and had been more than impressed.

Yet he was still looking forward to seeing just how beautiful she would look in real life.

Just then, Faye came into sight… with another man next to her!

Faye was also holding the man by the arm, and they definitely looked intimate.

The sight shocked everyone in the room.

This was supposed to be Faye and Justin's engagement. What was going on, and why was Faye showing up hanging onto another man's arm?

The rest of Faye's family was in shock, especially Asher. His expression darkened and his brows furrowed tightly.

Justin's gaze turned cold as well.

Faye was beautiful, even more so than in photos. That much was true, and Justin was plenty satisfied.

But here she was, hanging onto another man's arm. The Yves family had better have a good explanation for this, or he was going to be a lot less nice.

The Eagle City Princes looked at each other, waiting for the situation to play out.

"It's also supposed to be your engagement to Mister Yaegar! What the hell do you think you're doing, bringing another man in here? Get this guy to leave right now!" Wesley whispered sharply.

Faye smiled. "An engagement? I didn't know about that. Why didn't anyone bother telling me?"

Wesley was beside himself in panic. "We told you last night! Are you trying to ruin our family?"

"Sorry, I didn't know I had a whole marriage planned out for me, so I went and got a boyfriend. Hope you don't mind." Faye walked past Wesley after that, heading for the VIP table while still locking arms with Wilbur.

Wesley was livid, but there were too many people watching, and he could not do much but watch as Faye and Justin locked eyes.

Faye looked away the next second, coming right up to her grandfather with a smile. "Hello, Grandpa. Happy birthday, I brought you a gift."

She opened a box she was holding to reveal a solid gold bar that looked like it weighed over a kilogram.

Asher was positively boiling with rage, glowering at Wilbur as he shouted, "Who are you?"
