"Of course not. Go ahead, Master Braxton," Wilbur smiled.

Braxton nodded. He walked over to a corner, took out his phone, and dialed a number.

Not long after, the call connected, and Braxton hurried to say, "Mister Grayson! Is this a bad time?"

"Ah, Brax. I was just about to take a nap. What's the matter?"

"Sorry for disturbing you, Mister Grayson. A young man named Wilbur Penn came looking for me and told me about the message you had for me. I just thought I'd call you to say that I haven't forgotten my roots. I promise to keep a pure heart in my position of power and use it to give people a better life. I'll never forget what you taught me."

"Well, it's great that you remember that. I've retired now, but people like you worry me the most. You're in a position of power, and every move you make is a representation of our nation that could affect the well-being of the people. If anything happens to you, you'd be affecting the nation's reputation, and mine, too. I won't forgive you if that happens, alright?"

"I know, Mister Grayson, of course. I'll remember that for life. It's just that I don't think I've heard you mention a Wilbur Penn before, have you?"

"Ah, my buddy! He's a new friend of mine. He might be young, but he's a brilliant man. He's also a member of the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense, and I've even been told that he's one of their strongest forces. It'd do you good to get to know him."

Braxton's chest lurched at the words, but he managed to say, "Don't you worry, Mister Grayson, I'll be sure to treat him well. I won't disturb you any further, then."

"Alright." Benjamin hung up the phone, but Braxton's mind was still racing.

The call had settled all of his suspicions but also shocked him to his core.

They cast glances of shock at Wilbur on their way out.

Who was this man, and how did he manage to get Braxton Yaegar to pull back his forces? It was a little too much for them to process.

Braxton smiled. "I just got off the phone with Mister Grayson, buddy. It seems like this was all just a misunderstanding. You're free to punish Justin however you see fit. I'll be sure to teach him a lesson after you're done as well."

His words left the Eagle City Princes in a state of shock, and they began to panic.
