Porter's face changes. "What?"

"Fuck you! Isabel won’t be so cruel to me! She's my woman, and I'm her first man! She loves me and she wouldn't do this to me! You're all liars! You are talking bullshit!" Porter curses; his emotionse collapses.

It’s not the kind of near-death collapse, but the kind of collapse when he realizes how pathetic he is. The person he cares about and loves the most, not only betrayed him, but also wants to kill him.

"I don't believe it! I don't believe it!" Porter murmurs, "You're all liars. I won't believe you. I want to see Isabel! Let her come and see me!"

"Don’t you want to accept the reality?” says the man who takes the lead.

I keep watching then in the dark, thinking that Porter is really infatuated with Isabel, but he didn't doesn't realize that the person he loves is such a heartless woman.

I am eavesdropping.

Isabel's voice is lazy, "Porter."

Porter's eyes widened. "Whose bed are you in? You bitch!"

"Do you think you're my only man? Don't be ridiculous, you are just one of them. Besides, you are getting old and incapable; otherwise I can keep you by my side for a while longer." Isabel laughs, and then continues, "Why don’t you appreciate my kindness? I told you that we will set apart, but you don't agree. Either James or I won’t await our doom, so Porter, I'm sorry."

His hands and feet are tied, and then is stuffed. The men stuff him into sack which is loaded with heavy stones. Porter is taken to the river and pushed down.
