I am in panic.

"Yes. Yes." I quickly get rid of him.

"What are you freaking out about?" James looks at me thoughtfully.

His finger touches my arm, and the tickling sensation thrills me all over.

He smiles all the more. James is really happy when he plays with me.

I look at him angrily. At last, James stops and says, "Well, I won’t tease you. Come back."

He pats the seat beside him.

I slowly move over to him and James does nothing this time, but puts his hand on my stomach and gently rubs it.

He says nothing, but rubs me gently.

The peace makes me sleepy. I do not know what is wrong with me. I just feel incredibly calm, and don’t want to do anything. There is no scheme and no hatred. Staying by his side makes me feel peaceful.

I am half-asleep when there is a knock on the door of my room.

James's personal doctor comes here.

"You are being high-strung, Mr. James." Dr. Lewis diagnoses me and says, "It’s not a serious disease, but just indigestion." Then he gives me some medicine to improve my digestion.

"Shut up." James glares at Dr. Lewis.

Dr. Lewis doesn’t care. "If you care about yourself just like how you care about her, you wouldn't often get sent to the hospital in the middle of the night."

I am shocked. Is James in such bad health? Why is he often taken to the hospital in the middle of the night?

"Get out of here." James yells angrily at Dr. Lewis.

Dr. Lewis winks at me. "This guy is extremely sensitive. Well, I'm going to have a tough time."

After Dr. Lewis passes by, I am still wondering what James has gone through these years.

I'm still lost in thought, and James picks me up and says, “Go to sleep."

I am caught off guard and happen to meet his eyes. He looks very gentle, and I am full of doubts.

James carries me into the bedroom before I collect my mind.

"I... I can go on my own! Let go of me!" I struggle with my hands.

James gently lies me down on the bed and says, "I will be here. You won’t get any harm."

Every corner of my heart is falling bit by bit, and I feel lost in his arms.

James is refreshed after he takes the shower, and I fall asleep peacefully by feeling safe.

I wake up in the morning when my cell phone rings. I look at the number and creeps out of bed and into the bathroom.

"Hello? What is up?" I ask softly.

Over the phone cries Porter, "Isabel knows I'm not dead! She saw me!"

"What have you been doing? Didn't I tell you not to go anywhere? Where are you now?"

I am in a hurry, and my voice is so loud that I don't even know it.

"I just wanted to see Isabel and wanted to know what she is doing," says Porter with some regret. "I just wanted to peek at her, but she found me! She would go after me! Come here now! Come here!"

Why is Porter so impatient?

After I get the address, I pull open the toilet door, trying to get there immediately.

But when the door opens, James is standing outside.

"What's wrong?" he asks, “Why in such a hurry in the early morning?”

He asks, pretending not to care about it, but his eyes are bright and shrewd, and he is waiting for my answer.

I smile and say, “There are some problems in the press office. I have to go there now.”

I don't know if James heard the conversation between Porter and me.

"Is it? James puts his hands in the pocket and casually asks, “shall I take you there?"

"No." I look at Ella who is still sleeping in the room and say, "Send Ella to the kindergarten later."

James laughs and says, “Alright."

I am so mean that I even take advantage of my own man.

James takes Ella to the kindergarten, and I rush to the address Porter has sent me.

I feel upset all the way the designated place. I do not know why I have a bad feeling.

Isabel is not an easy person to deal with. Can Porter get away with it?
