“I don’t care who you truly love. Marry me, and you can have your freedom. I’ll even cover for you if you want to see her.”

“Besides, the Sinclair family is a perfect match for the Clarkson family. It’s a mutually beneficial alliance, resources shared.”

“It’s a deal you can’t lose.”

Dailey remained silent.

Before Serena went abroad, she often saw Dailey around the neighborhood. He was always distant and indifferent, never one to open up easily.
