“Ms. Taylor, your treatment response has been very positive. Your hematopoietic function has shown significant improvement, and your blood cell counts are returning to normal levels, which is an excellent sign.”

“Additionally, your bone marrow biopsy indicates a remarkable increase in hematopoietic stem cell activity. The production of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets has all improved, suggesting that your bone marrow is recovering its normal hematopoietic function.”

“Keep it up—the progress we’ve made with your treatment is incredibly encouraging.”

The elderly Danish doctor, with his graying beard, looked at Linda’s medical report with genuine relief.

“Really?”

Rachel, standing beside Linda, nearly jumped out of her seat in excitement. Grabbing Linda’s hand, tears of joy welled up in her eyes.

“This is amazing, Linda—your health is improving!”

Linda clasped Rachel’s hand in return, finally letting out a long-held breath of relief. She nodded firmly and embraced Rachel tightly.

Leaving the doctor’s office, their hands remained interlocked, both seeing hope reflected in each other’s eyes.

“Oh, Rachel, I’d like to meet the person who donated blood for me and thank him in person.”

Linda’s gaze was earnest, and Rachel confidently patted her chest.
